About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring efficient financial operations and strategic financial management. Your responsibilities include financial planning, analysis, risk management, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder relations, all aimed at maintaining financial stability and supporting business growth.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee daily accounting, analyze financial statements, develop financial models, assess risks, evaluate investments, and ensure compliance with standards like IFRS or SEC regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely financial reports and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets, utilize forecasting techniques, analyze financial data, and create performance metrics.
  • Taxation and Audit: Support tax planning, manage audits, and ensure tax compliance.
  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Manage cash flow, evaluate investment opportunities, and develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, enhance controls, and develop risk frameworks.
  • Policies, Processes, and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations, standardize processes, and oversee compliance programs.
  • Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics: Drive process automation, analyze data for improvements, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced certifications (MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • At least ten years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (Xero, QuickBooks, ERP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
