Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst will focus on Financial Systems Administration & Process Improvements. This role plays a critical role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Hospital Information Systems. This role focuses on streamlining processes, enhancing automation, and improving reporting accuracy through systems and process improvements. Ensures data integrity, supports compliance requirements, and enables efficient financial operations through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems Management

  • Oversee and maintain financial software systems, ensuring on timeliness, accuracy, and compatibility with business needs.
  • Monitor system performance and address technical or user-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate upgrades and system enhancements in collaboration with IT.

Process Automation & Optimization

  • Identify manual or redundant financial processes and lead automation efforts.
  • Design and implement system improvements for efficiency.
  • Recommend solutions for integration between systems.

Data Accuracy & Compliance

  • Ensure financial data integrity across systems and reports.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate system-generated reports and reconciliations.

Training & Support

  • Create manuals for finance system users for any system improvement(documentation).
  • Primary point of contact for troubleshooting financial system issues from units.
  • Collaboration with IT, Finance Teams, and Medical Operations Units
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
  • Collaborate with other finance units to understand reporting needs and implement solutions. (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Treasury, etc.)
  • Coordinates with medical operations units to cater finance related systems troubleshooting, walkthrough and understanding of operations and translate it to defined finance policies and standards.

Collaboration & Reporting Structure:

  • Reports directly to Finance Manager to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Works collaboratively with the Senior Finance Analyst III – Financial Planning & Reporting on enhancing reporting capabilities and data analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial systems administration, process improvements, or related roles.
  • Knowledgeable of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft NAV)
  • Experience in using any Hospital Information System is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in Excel, financial reporting tools, and system troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Team-player but can also work with minimal supervision, result-oriented, and can work within set deadlines.
