Prior Experience Mandatory

Mentor Match is seeking experienced coaches to teach Public Speaking, Debate, and Communication Skills to students in Grades 6–12. Prior coaching or teaching experience in these areas is required, particularly with international learners.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience teaching or coaching Public Speaking, Debate, or Communication Skills, especially with international students
  • Deep knowledge of communication techniques, persuasive speaking, and presentation skills that meet global benchmarks
  • Dynamic teaching style, superior verbal skills, and the ability to inspire student confidence
  • Equipped with a pen tablet, laptop, and reliable high-speed internet
  • Available for at least 4 hours between 7:30 pm and 1:30 am PHT

Responsibilities:

  • Lead interactive 1:1 coaching sessions in Public Speaking or Communication Skills
  • Prepare students for debates, speeches, interviews, and presentations
  • Cultivate clarity, structure, and self-assurance in student expression
  • Convert demo sessions to enrollments
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress with consistent feedback

Requirements:

  • Commit to at least 24 hours per week, 6 days per week
  • Have a laptop, pen tablet, and high-speed internet connection

Shift Options:

  • Minimum weekly commitment: 24 hours. Additional flexibility is appreciated during exams.

All new hires participate in Mentor Match's training program, which covers:

  • Running demo and paid classes
  • Navigating our LMS for effective scheduling and session management
  • Online pedagogical best practices
  • Student progress documentation
