We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to take a lead role in developing and optimizing our web platforms, enhancing user experience, and contributing to our future mobile app development.

What You'll Do

  • Web Development & CMS Management
  • Enhance, maintain, and optimize WordPress-based publishing platforms.
  • Build and maintain custom plugins, integrations, and content features.
  • Implement modern front-end components for engaging user experiences (React/Vue familiarity a plus).
  • Site Performance & Stability
  • Optimize speed, reliability, and security across mobile and desktop.
  • Manage server-side configuration, caching, and CDN integrations (Cloudflare, SSL, etc.).
  • Publishing Workflow & SEO
  • Improve editorial publishing workflows and CMS usability.
  • Implement best-in-class SEO practices, schema markup, analytics, and ad tech integrations.
  • Mobile App Development (Future-Facing)
  • Contribute to the architecture and development of our upcoming mobile app.
  • Collaborate on API development and integration between CMS, backend systems, and mobile apps.
  • Design and implement app features in Flutter, React Native, or similar frameworks.
  • Support mobile-first performance improvements, ensuring consistency between web and app experiences.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with the Project Lead and Digital Content & SEO Strategist to align development with business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the team scales.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in fullstack web development, ideally with experience on content-heavy WordPress, CraftCMS and similar CMS publishing platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and modern JavaScript (React or Vue).
  • Deep hands-on experience with WordPress (plugin/theme development, optimization).
  • Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
  • Strong experience with server-side setup & optimization (Linux, cPanel, Nginx/Apache, caching layers, Cloudflare).
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, analytics, tracking pixels, GTM, and SEO technical implementation.
  • Mobile-related experience:
  • API development for mobile apps.
  • Exposure to Flutter, React Native, or hybrid app frameworks.
  • Understanding of app deployment workflows (App Store/Google Play).
  • Mindset:
  • Detail-oriented problem solver who can balance long-term scalability with short-term stability.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving digital media environments.
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with CraftCMS (Twig/PHP) and multi-CMS environments.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS or hybrid publishing setups.
  • Hands-on experience building or shipping mobile apps.
  • Exposure to media/ad tech platforms and monetization strategies.
  • Interest in culture, lifestyle, and digital media.
