About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager – Japanese Speaker to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring clear communication with Japanese-speaking partners and customers.

Fluency in Japanese is essential for handling meetings, documentation, and negotiations involving Japanese stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new corporate clients and develop long-term business relationships.
  • Conduct client calls, presentations, and business meetings, including those with Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Identify financing opportunities and provide appropriate leasing and financial solutions.
  • Prepare client proposals, credit assessments, and business information documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Operations, Compliance, Appraisal, Credit, and Audit to ensure smooth processing of accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of KYC and compliance requirements.
  • Translate or interpret Japanese documents, emails, and conversations for both internal and external use.
  • Support Japanese-speaking clients through meetings, clarifications, and negotiations.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with dealers, internal business units, and industry partners.

Japanese-Language Responsibilities
  • Assist in client meetings and calls requiring Japanese fluency.
  • Translate proposals, financial requirements, and client communications from Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Ensure accurate interpretation of client needs and expectations.
  • Provide cultural and communication support when interacting with Japanese corporate clients.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of any 4-year Business-related course.
  • JLPT N2 or N1 proficiency (or equivalent Japanese fluency).
  • Experience in banking, leasing, financial services, or B2B corporate sales is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of credit evaluation, financial analysis, or client documentation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
