Job Summary:

The Travel Specialist is responsible for creating, promoting, and managing customized travel packages for individual and group clients. The role involves providing expert travel advice, handling end-to-end bookings, ensuring compliance with travel requirements, and delivering excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to assess travel needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Create and recommend tailor-fit travel itineraries and packages.
  • Handle reservations for flights, accommodations, tours, and transfers.
  • Stay updated on visa regulations, entry requirements, and travel advisories.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and suppliers.
  • Manage group tours, joiner tours, and special event travel.
  • Provide after-sales service: assist clients with rebookings, cancellations, or changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients, invoices, and bookings.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new packages.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts through content, promos, and social media engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 1–2 years experience in travel/tour operations or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international destinations.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
  • Computer literate; knowledge in GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
