About The Team
As a member of the Acquisition team, your role entails managing the entire process of acquiring various brands. You'll collaborate closely with different stakeholders to ensure that key brands are brought onto the platform. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Regional Brand Partnerships team, as well as other teams within the Mall team, such as category managers and KAM leads to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for these brands.
Job Description
- Contact and pitch brands to join Shopee Mall
- Create presentations and updates for internal and external presentations
- Support new sellers with onboarding post-acquisition
- Provide market insights from brand's perspective through good understanding of products, sellers, market & competitor dynamics
- Provide forecast on seller performance
- Able to form relationships with key counterparts from brands to gain trust
- Interact with relevant key stakeholders to resolve & de-bottleneck issues
- Review and suggest enhancements to streamline and improve acquisition process wherever possible
- Work with lead management team and clusters to identify high priority brands to acquire
- Conceptualize, execute and track new initiatives to acquire new sellers for Shopee
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison for new brands
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience
- Relevant work experience in B2B or retail or e-commerce industry is a plus
- Holds a bachelor's degree with excellent academic record
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail oriented and comfortable in making pitch decks
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Process-oriented and logical thinking
- Practices a high level of confidentiality
- Strong team player and a capable individual contributor
- Proficient in Google workplace
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Data driven and comfortable with synthesizing insights from a series of number
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is a must
