The
QA, Delivery and Business Analysis Manager
is responsible for leading the quality assurance strategy and execution across all technology platforms, with a strong emphasis on test automation. This role ensures that software products and systems meet defined standards of quality, reliability, and performance before deployment.

The role includes managing a QA team, Project Managers, and Business Analysts collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices and tools across the business.

What will you do?

We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Define and drive the QA strategy, developing repeated QA processes (a playbook) to be leveraged across the enterprise including test automation frameworks and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and transitioning to a structured test automation capability (the measure here would be the extent of automation coverage over a period of time)
• Develop and manage the end-to-end QA lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align QA activities with business goals and delivery timelines.

Automation Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing solutions (e.g., UI, API, regression).
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable deployments.

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA analysts and automation engineers.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support.
• Allocate resources and manage team workload to meet project timelines.

Governance, Reporting & Risk

• Establish QA metrics and KPIs to measure team performance and product quality.
• Identify risks and issues related to product quality and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Continuous Improvement
• Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement and innovation.
• Stay updated with QA and automation trends, tools, and best practices.
• Drive initiatives to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness.

As required Test/QA Lead on projects (as/when required): This role may also need to be hands-on and manage strategic/complex/in trouble project and QA Manager activities concurrently

You will also need the following capabilities:

Qualifications (Required)

• 7+ years in technology delivery and 3+ years in a leadership or middle-management role
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams including QA, Project Managers, and Business Analysts
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid frameworks

Good to have

• Experience in big enterprise, digital transformation, shared services, or federated business models
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Workday, Middleware, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
• Product development
• Curiosity and exposure to emerging technologies, especially in AI-driven delivery and automation
