Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team to meet evolving business needs. Foster strong collaboration with corporate business units, suppliers, and country leadership.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement in partnership with the country head, ensuring alignment with corporate technical and quality standards.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of technical guidelines, quality assurance programs, and QA/QC procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Provide expert technical solutions in technical construction, and sewing during the production phase.
  • Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards through robust monitoring systems and performance metrics.

Core Duties

  • Conduct pre-production meeting on samples and provide actionable recommendations for garment engineering improvements.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues throughout production stages.
  • Conduct regular vendor site visits to oversee production quality, ethical compliance, and factory performance.
  • Monitor the monthly quality performance across all factories to identify weaknesses and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Address customer complaints and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
  • Report on overall quality performance and propose strategic improvements to senior management.
  • Follow up on prioritized improvement areas with accountability, ensuring timely implementation and sustained progress.
  • Develop and enhance training materials for inspection services and quality improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Textiles, Clothing Engineering, or related technologies.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in apparel development, sample approval, production, and quality control, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in all product categories is highly preferred.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and deadline management skills with a calm and proactive approach under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams to achieve optimal results.
  • In-depth knowledge of product safety, quality management systems, and manufacturing control processes.
  • Experience working with both EU and US markets.

Professional Skills & Certifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity Quality Management System.
  • Strong technical knowledge in fabric, textile testing, product safety, garment construction, and sewing operations.
  • Experience in product engineering and process optimization.
  • Management certifications are a strong advantage.
