Audit Planning and Execution

  • Leads the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive audit plans aligned with organizational risk priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Conducts high-level independent financial, operational, compliance, and special audits, ensuring a thorough evaluation of internal controls, business processes, and regulatory adherence.
  • Reviews complex financial transactions and data sets to uncover discrepancies, control weaknesses, inefficiencies, or emerging risks.
  • Performs and supervises substantive testing, control reviews, and compliance audits, ensuring audit procedures are risk-based and value-adding.
  • Evaluates and enhances internal control systems, ensuring alignment with company policies, international standards, and industry best practices.
  • Oversees timely implementation and sustained adoption of audit recommendations by engaging and following up with Process Owners and Management.

Qualifications:Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any Accounting-related field
  • A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation
  • Proven experience with a minimum of five (5) years' work experience as an Audit Supervisor or similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • In-depth knowledge or understanding of accounting principles, financial auditing and internal controls and bookkeeping
  • Able to create and implement an audit plan with integration of risk assessment and quality assurance
  • Experience in IT audit and systems, preferably SAP
  • Experience in quality assurance and risk management is an advantage
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify control weaknesses
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive, hardworking and flexible with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Adept in governance, including knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and auditing standards
  • Willing to work fully onsite in Quezon City
