Role Purpose:
You will oversee the daily bookkeeping activities for the ongoing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and oversee all bookkeeping activities/transactions: accounts payable, treasury and treasury and bank reconciliations.
Perform bookkeeping tasks for the team, not limited to the following:
Drives month end closing activities of the team.
Ensures the correctness of recordings of the team.
Review month-end accounts and payroll
Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
People and workforce management.
Monitors performance, capacity, and capability of her direct reports.
Manages utilization and allocates time of each staff effectively.
Discuss and recommends development plan for each staff.
Manages staff behaviors and reinforce compliance to company policies and processes.
Coach and/or mentor the team
Establishes and maintains processes and procedures, documentation and internal controls in his/her team.
Constantly updates job knowledge in his/her areas.
Establish and maintain accounting controls, policies and procedures, aligned with company's targets
Perform ad hoc requirements falling under accounting payable, treasury and general account.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting or Finance
- Preferably CPA
- At least 2 years in supervisory or team leader role under BPO industry firm
- With project management, process improvement and operational excellence skills and experience
- Preferably with accounting software experience
- Preferably with end-to-end global bookkeeping process experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in an offshoring or BPO is a must.
- Detail oriented.
- Dives process improvements, operational excellence, and projects.
- Place of residence must be within Pampanga or a nearby province.
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup (3 days in the office, 2 days work-from-home).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php70, Php100,000.00 per month
