Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and coordinating all testing activities within a designated project or delivery unit.
  • Manage test teams, ensuring adherence to defined testing processes, and maintaining visibility into test progress, risks, and resource needs.
  • Drive the identification and prioritization of manual test cases for automation and provide strategic requirements to the Test Automation Architect to support scalable and efficient test execution.
  • Ensure Test Process are followed according to the SDLC and TCOE Test Process.
  • Collaborates with Project Managers, ITSD Unit Heads, Development Leads across Unit/Project team to ensure quality delivery and gather resource demands.
  • Provide guidance on Test Leads, supervise test teams to ensure consistency in implementing Test Process.
  • Gather and report Test Status and represent the Test Team in meetings within and across the Units.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with both internal and external test resources.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a Test Manager or equivalent leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Jira-Xray, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • Demonstrated success in managing testing for large-scale, cross-functional projects or programs.
  • Solid understanding of industry-standard software testing methodologies, frameworks, and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience in: Project Management, Risk and Issue Management, Mitigation and creating Resource Management (Capacity and Demand Management).
  • Knowledge of testing tools MF ALM, LR, UFT, Jira, Selenium, Github, Jenkins.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with centralized governance teams.
  • Professional Certification & Licenses: ISTQB CTFL, PMP, ITILV4, TMMI Professional.
  • Strong understanding of QA governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
