About the Role

IT By Design is looking for an experienced 
Advanced System Administrator (L2–L3)
 to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in 
network administration, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
, who can deliver exceptional technical support, system maintenance, and client service in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for 
    server, network, and cloud environments
     (L2–L3 level).
  • Manage and maintain 
    Active Directory
    , 
    Microsoft 365
    , 
    Exchange
    , and 
    Azure AD
     environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to 
    network connectivity
    , 
    DNS
    , 
    DHCP
    , 
    VPN
    , and 
    firewalls
    .
  • Configure, monitor, and support 
    LAN/WAN networks
    , routers, switches, and security appliances.
  • Handle escalations from Level 1 engineers, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.
  • Implement and manage 
    backup, patching, and security protocols
     to maintain system reliability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to optimize IT infrastructure performance.
  • Document all technical activities, incident resolutions, and change management actions in ConnectWise.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for efficiency and security.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years
     of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration (preferably in an MSP environment).
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Active Directory
    , 
    Group Policy
    , 
    DNS/DHCP
    , 
    Exchange
    , and 
    Office 365 administration
  • Networking concepts
     (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing, switching)
  • Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
     setup and management
  • Experience with 
    Azure
    , 
    Intune
    , and 
    M365 security & compliance
     tools.
  • Familiarity with 
    firewalls
     (SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with 
    virtualization technologies
     (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications are an advantage: 
    MCSA
    , 
    MS-900
    , 
    Azure Administrator
    , 
    Network+
    , or 
    CCNA
    .
  • Willing to work 
    onsite in Taguig (BGC)
     on a 
    night shift schedule
    .
