JOB SUMMARY
The Content Strategy and Marketing Communications Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance Healthway Medical Network's (HMN) brand presence and compel audiences to action. This role focuses on creating and overseeing campaigns that drive engagement and lead to tangible results, from booking a consultation to enrolling in a health program. The ideal candidate is a proactive, versatile marketing professional with a sharp eye for detail and strong project management skills, capable of overseeing content across all digital and print platforms.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communication Strategy Development The role is responsible for the full lifecycle of communication strategies, with guidance from the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Head. This includes conducting research to identify and define key messaging and communication pillars, and developing comprehensive content plans and editorial calendars for HMN's social media channels, official website, marketing collaterals, and other platforms.
- Content Management This role involves overseeing the creation, editing, and publishing of all content, ensuring that all messaging is high-quality, brand-consistent, and optimized for its intended platform. This includes ensuring brand voice and tone are consistent across all materials and that content is optimized for search engines (SEO) where applicable.
- Project Management The role may serve as the project lead in some marketing initiatives such as content production and video shoots. This involves creating project timelines, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and on schedule. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
- Platform Versatility The role requires a versatile approach to content creation. S/he must adapt messaging and visuals for a wide range of communication channels. This includes crafting engaging social media captions, writing informative website articles and blog posts, designing compelling copy for brochures and flyers, and developing content for email newsletters and press releases.
- Performance Monitoring The role should be able track the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns. This involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, conversion, and website traffic, and providing regular, data-driven reports to the team. The insights gained from this analysis will be used to continually optimize future content efforts. This may involve coordinating with the creatives and media agencies of the brand.
- Collaboration A key part of the role is to act as a central liaison. The officer will work closely with the marketing, medical, and operations teams to translate complex medical information into accessible and engaging content for a general audience. This collaboration ensures accuracy in all communications and aligns marketing efforts with broader business goals.
- Quality Control This is a crucial responsibility that requires a keen eye for detail. The role will perform rigorous proofreading and fact-checking on all content before it is published. This ensures all materials are free of errors and strictly adhere to HMN's brand guidelines and any relevant regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in content strategy, digital marketing, and project management, preferably within the healthcare industry or a similar field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting clear, compelling, and effective messages
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in social media management platforms, content management systems (CMS), and digital analytics tools
- A keen understanding of current marketing trends and best practices
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools for community performance tracking
- Passion for healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
