GENERAL MANAGER (FCMG)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, operations, and finance.
• Lead business development initiatives and partnerships.

Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, logistics, sales, and marketing.
• Ensure efficient supply chain and inventory management.
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics.

Financial Oversight

• Drive cost efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Sales & Marketing

• Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across digital, traditional, and trade channels.
• Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
• Guide pricing, promotions, and product portfolio decisions to maximize profitability.
• Ensure effective use of marketing budgets and ROI tracking.
• Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market penetration.
• Lead the sales team in developing channel strategies (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, etc.). Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
• Implement sales incentive programs and performance management systems.
• Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and develop senior leaders in marketing, sales, and operations.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.
• Lead organizational change and capability-building initiatives.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to government regulations (FDA, DTI, DOLE, etc.).
• Maintain high standards of product safety and quality.
• Implement and monitor company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; (MBA preferred)
• 8–10 years of experience in FMCG, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven ability to manage operations, sales, and financial performance
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements and FMCG market dynamics

Preferred Skills:

• Experienced in both distribution and manufacturing environments
• Proficient in using ERP systems for data-driven decision-making
• Skilled in managing B2B and B2C channels
• Familiar with digital marketing, CRM systems, and data analytics tools
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
