Job Summary:

The Finance Staff plays a key role in managing daily financial operations related to cashiering for both the Sales and Service departments. The role also includes being the custodian of the Petty Cash Fund (PCF), ensuring proper fund disbursement and replenishment, and overseeing procurement activities in accordance with company policies. This position supports the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and ensures smooth coordination between finance and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cashiering (Sales and Service Departments):

  • Receive, record, and deposit cash, check, and electronic payments from Sales and Service transactions.
  • Issue official receipts and ensure accurate daily cash collections.
  • Reconcile daily collections against system reports (e.g., invoice reports, job order summaries).
  • Prepare daily deposit slips and ensure timely deposit of collections to the bank.
  • Maintain a cash logbook and ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Service departments for any discrepancies in payment or billing.

2. PCF (Petty Cash Fund) Custodianship:

  • Manage the disbursement of petty cash based on approved requests and valid receipts.
  • Monitor and reconcile the petty cash fund on a regular basis.
  • Prepare replenishment reports with proper documentation and justification.
  • Ensure proper safekeeping of cash and compliance with internal control policies.

3. Procurement Support:

  • Assist in the procurement of office supplies, parts, tools, and consumables required by various departments.
  • Source suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, and prepare canvass sheets for management approval.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of purchases, supplier information, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/inventory staff to ensure proper receipt and inspection of items.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in cashiering, finance, or procurement (preferably in the automotive or retail industry).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier negotiations is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting or dealership management systems (DMS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
