Overview of the role

We are looking for a skilled culinary professional who will be responsible in supporting the Banquet Kitchen Team in ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Accountabilities

Assist in all kitchens assigned him/her by their supervisor.To prepare and ensure all Kitchen Mis en Place is according to production plan.Prevent food spoilage through daily checks and ensures that all incoming and outgoing food items are up to agreed standards.Actively participates in all scheduled training and hotel activitiesEnsure physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in adherence to HACCP. 

General Requirements

At least 1 to 2 years experience as Chef de Partie in a 5 star Hotel or reputable restaurantBasic Culinary educationExtensive knowledge of food and ingredients with a high level of creativity.Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence to guide a team.Ability to work under pressure and willing to work in a dynamic workplace
