AT A GLANCE (OVERVIEW)

The Social Media Associate will assist the Social Media Manager in optimizing & increasing the brand's visibility & awareness on the social media channel, specifically Sunnies Face, making sure that the content published on the channel represent the brand's voice, style, & image

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Social Media Management

  • Assist the Social Media Manager in managing the day-to-day handling and distribution of assets across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Maintain a solid media presence to increase brand awareness

Content Creation

  • Brainstorm fresh, innovative content ideas that are exciting & visually pleasing, yet align with brand goals
  • Create & edit appropriate content including copy, photos & videos to suit specific social media channels
  • Develop influencer content & reach out to potential collaborators to widen reach online

Trend Research & Development

  • Stay up to date on the latest social media practices and research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences on each platform
  • Assess today's pop culture trends globally and apply these to the brand's social media plans, when suitable
  • Publish with care and be in the know about cultural and political sensitivities that may damage the brand's reputation

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Communication, Marketing, or related field
  • Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other editing programs
  • Good understanding of the use of different social media platforms
  • Able to use the brand's voice when writing and publishing content
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Creative & innovative
