PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer
with strong experience in
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize infrastructure.
• Ensure best practices in cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Support containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a
  DevOps Engineer
  with hands-on expertise in
  AWS services
  (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK/EFK stack, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
