Electrical Engineering Draftsperson

Job Description:

· Support and participate in the Design Team to ensure the timely and accurate designs for overhead, underground, street lighting, and communications projects, ensuring quality outcomes for the company.

· Use AutoCAD or BricsCAD to create design layouts.

· Manage personal safety, safety in design and own professional development.

· Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace.

· Comply with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and practices.



Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field.

· Demonstrated knowledge in the application of AutoCAD and BricsCAD engineering software.

· Ability to prioritise and manage work, to meet required targets whilst under direct supervision from the Design and Engineering Team.

· Demonstrate commitment to workplace, health, and safety.

· Passion and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn new drafting skills.

· High attention to detail.

· High level of written and oral communication ability, along with well-developed interpersonal and negotiating skills.

Nice-To-Haves:

· Certificate III in Engineering – Technical.

· Experience in using AutoCAD and BricsCAD.

· Undertaking ongoing or further professional development.

Other Special Requirement:

· Progressive, adaptive and innovative in response to changing environment, business systems, tools, and job duties.
