Project Draftsperson

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Project Draftsperson experienced in playground and outdoor gym design and drafting. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce Site Set-Out drawings for the construction and installation of our equipment, ensuring they meet PlayCo's quality standards and methodologies.

You will work on projects across local government parks, educational institutions, and the private sector. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of site conditions, complexities, and variables that may affect design and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precise set-out drawings using Autodesk Inventor (and occasionally AutoCAD) that align with client specifications, user needs, site conditions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Produce drawings in accordance with Australian Standards for open space playgrounds, enclosed play areas, and outdoor gym structures.
• Manage multiple projects of varying scope and scale while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Apply creative problem-solving to bridge the gap between design and sales through to project management and installation.
• Gather, review, and integrate all relevant project information when preparing drawings.
• Maintain and update standard details and drawing libraries as required or directed.

Requirements

• Qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or a closely related discipline.
• 6–12 months of experience in playground and outdoor gym design and/or drafting.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge of construction techniques and technical drawing principles.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand land surveys, architectural, landscape, and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Manufacturing knowledge is highly advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
