Project HR Officer

The Project HR Officer will primarily lead and support initiatives related to employee engagement, internal communications, and culture-building across the organization. This role is crucial in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee morale, alignment, and participation. In addition to their core focus, the Project HR Officer will also provide support in general HR functions such as recruitment, training, records management, and employee relations when necessary. The successful candidate will be project-based, report onsite in Pasig City, and must be willing to travel to various project sites as required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement and Communications:
- Plan, organize, and implement employee engagement programs and events (e.g., wellness programs, team-building activities, recognition programs, etc.).
- Develop and disseminate internal communication materials such as newsletters, announcements, memos, and campaigns that align with the organization's values and goals.
- Support efforts to enhance the company culture and promote employee satisfaction and retention.
- Collect feedback from employees through surveys or focus group discussions and recommend improvements based on insights.
Support in Other HR Functions:
- Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Support HR records management and documentation (e.g., 201 files, leave monitoring).
- Assist in recruitment and selection processes when needed (e.g., scheduling interviews, screening applicants).
- Provide administrative support for learning and development activities.
- Participate in employee relations initiatives or investigations under the guidance of senior HR staff.
Other Tasks:
- Coordinate with various departments and project sites for HR-related concerns and initiatives.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports related to engagement activities and HR metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Communications, or any related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in HR, with exposure to employee engagement and internal communications preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously.
- Willing to accept a project-based employment status.
- Willing to report onsite in Pasig City and travel to various project sites esp. in Gapan, Nueva Ecija as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or design or communication tools is an advantage (e.g., Canva, MS Publisher, Mailchimp).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
