Overview:

The studio owner manages both the yoga business and her husband's business, and is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented social media & Admin Support professional to assist with day-to-day coordination and online presence management.

This is a part-time remote role ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable in balancing creative and administrative work.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media & Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports one of our clients in managing their online presence and day-to-day administrative operations.

Position Overview

The Social Media & Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the client's studio maintains a professional online presence while staying organized behind the scenes. This role combines creative execution with strong administrative skills—ideal for someone who can balance design, communication, and time management.

About the Role

As the Social Media & Administrative Assistant, you will manage the client's social media channels (Instagram and Facebook), create visual content using Canva, and maintain posting consistency aligned with studio branding. You will also oversee basic administrative duties such as managing emails, scheduling, and event tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Create engaging visual content using Canva aligned with the studio's branding and tone.
  • Collaborate with the client to finalize captions (client drafts via GPT).
  • Schedule and post content consistently on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar.
  • Monitor engagement and ensure brand consistency across all posts.
  • No paid advertising or marketing campaigns are required at this stage.

Administrative Support

  • Oversee inbound studio emails and manage basic correspondence.
  • Manage both personal and business calendars: schedule meetings, classes, and reminders.
  • Track company events, holidays, and important dates to support advanced planning.
  • Ensure tasks, meetings, and deliverables are executed on time.
  • Provide light operational support as needed to help the studio run smoothly.

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in social media management and/or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Canva or other basic graphic design tools.
  • Familiarity with Meta (Facebook & Instagram) posting tools or similar scheduling platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using productivity tools (Google Workspace, Calendar, etc.).
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
