Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor with a solid background in real estate development. This role is responsible for supervising the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and managing project-based accounting related to land acquisition, property development, and unit sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, payroll, and general ledger management
  • Monitor and prepare financial reports specific to real estate projects (e.g., project cost monitoring, capitalization, revenue recognition)
  • Ensure accurate recording of sales transactions, client payments, and amortization schedules
  • Coordinate with project and sales teams to validate inventory, collections, and expenses
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Assist in budget forecasting, tax filings, and audit requirements
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate junior accounting staff
  • Liaise with banks, external auditors, and government agencies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (CPA is a strong advantage)
  • At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a real estate development or property company
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial workflows (e.g., project costing, sales accounting, loan monitoring)
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or real estate ERP systems)
  • Knowledgeable in taxation, compliance, and government remittances
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and team leadership skills
