
Sales and Account Officer

A Sales and Account Officer's primary role is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing client relationships, which involves sales activities like prospecting, lead generation, proposal creation, and closing deals, alongside account management duties such as ensuring client satisfaction, resolving inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining financial records. They must understand market trends, maintain strong customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and collaborate with internal departments to support the company's overall sales and financial objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, such as phone calls, networking, and direct outreach.
- Develop and present sales proposals, demonstrating product features and negotiating terms to close sales.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide regular reports on sales performance.
- Promote company products, services, and discounts to customers.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their requests and concerns.
- Manage client accounts, including processing transactions, monitoring account activity, and handling inquiries.
- Nurture client relationships to foster loyalty and expand business through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Administrative & Financial Duties:
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records in CRM systems and other databases.
- Process invoices and payments, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial records are compliant and accurate.
- Prepare financial reports and present findings to management.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
- Develop deep knowledge of the company's products, services, and target market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and accounting principles.
- A bachelor's degree, typically in business or a related field, is often preferred.
