About the role

Global Payments Process Centre, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will perform daily/monthly accounting tasks to support accurate reporting., and other duties assigned.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform daily/monthly accounting tasks to support accurate reporting.
  • Prepare JEs and account reconciliations and resolve variances.
  • Support close packages and recurring reports.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI/SOX).
  • Contribute to standardization and efficiency initiatives.
  • Post JEs; perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Clear reconciling items (7‑day variance, 90‑day SOX write‑off policy).
  • Prepare monthly reporting and distribute scheduled reports.
  • Manage shared inboxes; coordinate with internal teams.
  • Support SOP updates and testing (SIT/SAT/UAT).

What we're looking for

  1. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Accounting.
  2. 0–1 year experience (internship experience is acceptable).
  3. Proficiency in Excel ; familiarity in using accounting systems Oracle/Frontier/SAP.
  4. Google Workspace familiarity a plus.
  5. Initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
  6. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide logical explanations.
  7. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
  8. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work efficiently.
  9. Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and organizational skills, ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations.
  10. Initiative & Problem-Solving: Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks, identify issues and work proactively to resolve them.
  11. Certified Public Accountant or equivalent is preferred.
