Treasury Officer – Billing and Collection

The purpose of this role is to support the daily operations of the Treasury function, focusing on Treasury Money Market and Foreign Exchange dealing, as well as Business Unit Treasury Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in achieving treasury strategies set for the function.
- Responsible for executing money market and foreign exchange deals accurately and timely.
- Manage foreign exchange risk and hedge book effectively.
- Review and execute daily funding requirements for business units.
- Ensure compliance with all Treasury policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate expertise in cash flow forecasting and cash targeting.
- Comply with policy, procedure, and limits consistently.
- Act as a role model for QBE essential behaviours and promote them within the team.
Work Experience:
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Experience in a Treasury department of a similar size and geographical spread, preferably with dealing experience.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree in finance/economics or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Postgraduate qualification in Treasury or Financial Markets (SIA/FTA or similar).
