Job Description:

Job Summary:
The Digitization Analyst - Will follow innovative processes regarding the information architecture, design, development and management of all product content, website, and application development efforts in the Asia region. 

This position will follow established digitization processes for the development & maintenance of digital content to be used on internal (i.e. websites, online stores) and external (i.e. channel partners) digital platforms. 

The Digitization Analyst will be collaborating closely with our Taiwan businesses and as such will be utilizing fluency of the Mandarin language.

Duties and responsibilities:
Specifically, the position will be responsible for the task completion pertaining to 3M's product information management systems and website development platforms in Asia, while aligning with local, regional & global practices.

1. Support all Mandarin language digitization requests to keep both B2B and B2C Product Catalogues of the 3M company accurate and up to date:
 

A. Asset upload, publishing, and syndication

B. Product detail specification updates

C. Product catalogue completion reports

2. Adhere to digitization process & understand internal systems to support requests such as content asset uploads, complete syndication requests, coordinate with developers, and internal digitization requirements.

3. Ensure business teams understand digitization requirements and maintain constant communication with required teams to ensure product attributes and related information are defined and accurate.

4. Support & enable marketing and digital teams in the management of digital content (ensuring accuracy and relevancy of information) required to drive the business' presence, vision, goals, and strategies.

5. Adhere to QA processes and provide insight on processes. Active participation in training and self-training from new technologies and tools updates.

6. Ensures adherence to 3M policies, guidelines, and procedures as required for the effectiveness and quality of the services provided.

7. Continuous improvement of processes.

8. Positively contributes to and supports team efforts and objectives.

9. Other tasks assigned by Team Leader.

Education and experience:

• Candidate must be a graduate of a 4-year course.
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service, technical support, or content management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software or Google Suite
• Experience in managing product information and/ or website management an advantage

Knowledge and skills:

• Excellent English communication is required (Read /Write/ Speak)
• Proficiency in Mandarin language is required (Read /Write/ Speak)
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to function with minimal day to day direction 
• Analytical and meticulous approach to the tasks entrusted. 
• Ability to solve problems and communicate properly 
• Detail oriented and enjoys working with operational processes 
• Uses a collaborative and teamwork-based approach to tasks 
• Stable home internet connection required
