About the Client

The client is building the first digital trading platform for green specialty coffee—bringing transparency, efficiency, and trust to a historically opaque market. By standardizing product classification, mapping coffees to pricing curves with proprietary methodology, ensuring traceability, streamlining logistics and payments, and reducing credit risk, we equip producers, exporters, importers, and roasters with the tools they need to trade with confidence.

We're building the industry's first digital trading platform for green specialty coffee—designed to bring transparency, efficiency, and trust to a historically opaque market. By rationalizing product classification, employing proprietary methodology for pricing curve construction, mapping product to pricing curves, ensuring product traceability, and streamlining logistics, payments, and mitigating credit risk for the parties, we empower both producers, exporters, importers and roasters with the tools they need to trade with confidence.

After extensive system design, development and testing over the past several months, we are targeting the formal Launch of our business for January 2026.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document business needs and system requirements
  • Testing Support: Support integration testing and UAT to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements
  • Communication: serves as a liaison between business leaders, clients, and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of goals and requirements
  • Process Documentation: document new and existing business processes and workflows for training and knowledge sharing
  • Project Support: assist senior members and managers with various project tasks, including documentation and planning
  • Reporting: compiles data findings into reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help others understand business performance
  • Data Analysis: collects, interpret, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business problems
  • Escalation: understand the escalation chain and recognize severity of incidents to ensure timely and appropriate escalation to enable resolution and recovery

Key Skills and Qualifications
:

  • Willing to work in EST and onsite in BGC
  • 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English language
    verbal and written communication to effectively interact with a global business and technology audience
  • Collaboration: Willingness to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand complex business issues and develop logical, actionable solutions
  • Technical Proficiency: May involve skills in tools like Excel, SQL, or other data analysis software
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify problems and potential solutions
