The Assistant Head Chef assists in managing daily operations in the kitchen. He/She oversees and manages stock levels as well as supervises kitchen staff during shift. He/She oversees the food preparation process. He/She ensures that appropriate standards and hygiene are adhered to. He/She manages staff scheduling. He/She anticipates and resolves problems concerning all facets of the kitchen.

Task

  • Apply food and beverages concepts and setup.
  • Apply food safety management systems for food service establishments.
  • Apply principles of gastronomy.
  • Conduct food and beverage hygiene audit.
  • Demonstrate food preservation methods.
  • Demonstrate regeneration process.
  • Demonstrate sous vide method.
  • Execute crisis management plan.
  • Implement site/outlet and equipment maintenance plans.
  • Maintain displays.
  • Maintain halal certification requirements.
  • Maintain inventories.
  • Manage operations for service excellence.
  • Manage quality system and processes.
  • Master recipes from various cuisines.
  • Perform culinary application and techniques.
  • Solve problems and make decisions at managerial level.
  • Supervise food production.
  • Understand all food cultures and techniques.
  • Understand nutritional knowledge and dietary requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
