POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Primarily In-charge of preparation and collation of Insurance Commission Audit Reports for Tariff Lines (Motor, Fire, Bonds)
  • Handles other statistical reportorial requirements by various departments (from Underwriting, to Claims, Compliance, Marketing and Finance)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Collects mathematical data for processing and analysis.

  2. Cleans the extracted data accurately for easier and efficient data processing.

  3. Keeps and manages data with utmost confidentiality.

  4. Develops theories and statistical techniques to advise on findings and recommend strategy to help make decisions.

  5. Interpersonal coordination and communication with IT Department to share findings with underwriters, accounting, and management.

  6. Designs research projects to identify trends and factors in order to determine whether methods and results are appropriate.

  7. Prepares reports in the form of graphs, charts, and tables for analysis.

  8. Performs other duties that the company may assign from time-to-time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity, non-life insurance experience is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
