About the Role

As an Employee Relations Specialist at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining positive and productive relationships between the company and its employees. This full-time position is based in Lipa City, Batangas, and will involve addressing employee concerns, implementing HR policies, and fostering a supportive work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing workplace issues and concerns in a fair and impartial manner
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs that promote positive employee relations and workplace culture
  • Participate in the collective bargaining process and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee relations activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and practices to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction

What We're Looking For

  • With at least 1 year of experience in an employee relations or labour relations role, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry
  • Thorough understanding of labour laws, collective bargaining agreements, and best practices in employee relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex workplace situations and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform HR decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with HR information systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
