JOB TITLE: COMMISSARY KITCHEN STAFF

JOB TYPE: EXTRA

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking hardworking and reliable Kitchen Staff to join our team. As a Kitchen Staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen's daily operations, preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting chefs and cooks to ensure high-quality food preparation. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist cooks and chefs by following instructions and supporting them in food preparation tasks.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage food storage, rotating stock and labeling items as per food safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to the supervisor.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist with dishwashing duties during busy hours, as needed.
  • Help with setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in culinary/kitchen service is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and follow instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary training or experience in food preparation.
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

NOTE:

Successful applicants will be assigned to the Central Kitchen (Commissary) of CIBO.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Up to Php86.88 per hour
