Job Title: Driver/Delivery Staff

Job Summary:

The Driver/Delivery Staff is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of stock, supplies, and materials between the commissary or warehouse and restaurant locations. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries to support the smooth operation of restaurant outlets. The individual will also assist with the handling, loading, and unloading of items, verifying delivery accuracy, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of delivery vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Transfer and Delivery:

- Transport stock, supplies, and materials from the commissary or warehouse to restaurant locations based on a set delivery schedule.

- Handle the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the safe transport and delivery of all items.

- Communicate with restaurant staff to confirm delivery completion and address any immediate concerns or discrepancies.

2. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and roadworthiness.

- Schedule regular maintenance checks and promptly report any vehicle issues to the supervisor.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations during transportation.

3. Inventory and Documentation:

- Assist in the accurate documentation of stock transfers, including delivery receipts, inventory logs, and return slips.

- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items encountered during the delivery process.

- Assist in periodic inventory checks and stock-taking as required.

4. Customer Service and Communication:

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with restaurant staff and other team members.

- Serve as the primary point of contact during deliveries, ensuring smooth coordination and addressing concerns promptly.

- Provide updates to the warehouse or commissary team regarding delivery status or unforeseen delays.

5. General Support:

- Assist in organizing and arranging stock in the warehouse or commissary as needed.

- Provide additional support during peak operational periods or emergencies, including packing and preparing items for delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably in food service or logistics.
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks) safely and efficiently.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and load items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local roads, traffic regulations, and GPS navigation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
