KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate, configure, and maintain optical transport and switching systems.
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting using test equipment for optical and protocol testing.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex network or equipment problems.
  • Act as a technical lead on projects or critical issues.
  • Provide root cause analysis and preventive solutions.
  • Support deployment and integration of optical networking solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams during project execution.
  • Work directly with clients at both technical and management levels.
  • Ensure reliable performance of fiber optic transmission systems.
  • Share technical knowledge and support peers in a collaborative environment.
  • Lead or contribute to troubleshooting activities within the team.
  • Provide clear technical documentation and communication to clients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • 10–12 years of related experience in the Telco industry.
  • Very knowledgeable in fiber optic transport and switching equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of SONET/SDH, OTN, DWDM, Carrier Ethernet technologies.
  • Experience with Ciena equipment and Optical Networking systems.
  • CE-P (Carrier Ethernet-Professional) certification (advantage).
  • OC-P (Optical Communications-Professional) certification (advantage).
  • Pre Sales solutioning scope, Practice, Tools, IRM, capability
  • Post Sales, support Deploy, CE readiness, Training, Demand/Supply CE development ( APAC, exclude India), Tools, etc..
  • Knowledge of data communications, UNIX SUN/Oracle, and IP networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written, English required).
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated, self-starter, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unusual/extended work hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php100,000.00 per month
