Position: CSS Supplier Services SME

We are seeking an experienced CSS Supplier Services Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CSS Supplier Services along with strong technical proficiency in Mainframe technologies, DB2, COBOL, and JCL. The SME will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth delivery, system stability, and enhancements in supplier services operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for CSS Supplier Services.
  • Collaborate with business users, suppliers, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Analyze, design, and implement solutions using Mainframe (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
  • Support production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Optimize and enhance existing CSS Supplier Services processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specs, and operational procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CSS Supplier Services SME.
  • Strong understanding of Supplier Services workflows, business processes, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies (MF COBOL, JCL, DB2).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
  • Good knowledge of incident, change, and release management processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Expected hours: 40 per week
