Work Arrangement: Work from Home
Location: Any CS PH Branch - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Tarlac/Cebu/Davao
Schedule: Morning Shift
Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Officer is part of the Credit team and is responsible for providing day to day accounts receivable and related administrative services within the Company, and to the Corporate Head Office.
This role manages high-volume receivables processing, including direct debits, credits, and client receipts, ensuring all transactions comply with established policies and procedures. The position also involves responding to internal staff and stakeholder enquiries, supporting the broader branch network with professionalism and attention to detail.
As this role supports offshore delivery, it requires strong English communication skills, adaptability within a global working environment, effective virtual collaboration, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily download of bank statements in AUS/NZ
- Daily download and receipting of Bpay transactions
- Daily download and receipting of Ezidebit/ NZ direct debit transactions
- Daily receipting and Excel upload EFT transactions
- Daily download and receipting of Credit card payments
- Liaise with Credit team on unidentified/unallocated transactions
- Follow documented procedures and ensure compliance with role-based access and escalation protocols.
- Deliver outputs within agreed turnaround times and accuracy standards, maintaining clear documentation for traceability.
- Identify exceptions or uncertainties early and escalate promptly to onshore leads to minimize risk.

Qualification and requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to use Pivot tables, VLOOKUP and related functions for financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Demonstrated experience processing high-volume receivables and performing accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in end-to-end accounts receivable operations or within a broader accounting function, preferably in an offshore or shared services setting.
- Working knowledge of electronic payment platforms and banking processes, including EFT, BPAY and direct debit transactions.
- Experience using accounting and ERP systems (MYOB, Xero or similar financial software)
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy accuracy and commitment to maintain data integrity across all financial records.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (not mandatory, but preferred)
- Certifications or training relevant to AR / credit control or bookkeeping. Certifications or training relevant to AR / credit control or bookkeeping.
- 2-3 years prior experience working with Australia or global clients, ideally within an offshore shared services environment.
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- 2-3 years of proven experience handling accounts receivable.
- Proficient with accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with AU accounts is preferable.
