Position Overview

We are an Australian Commercial Painting & Epoxy business, seeking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our team. You must have at least 5 years' experience in estimating and/or the construction industry. You will be communicating and working side by side with our Australian team.

You must have strong internet broadband.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and finishes schedule to develop comprehensive painting estimates.
  • Analysing the project scope and gather necessary data to deliver an accurate estimate.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns including labour, materials, and access equipment pricing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive estimation.
  • Track and manage bid deadlines and submissions.
  • Maintain and update estimating tools, quotations, and historical cost records.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an estimator in commercial painting or related construction fields.
  • Strong knowledge of painting systems, materials, and application techniques.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, preferable Bluebeam.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architecture and technical documents.
  • Perform well under pressure and result-oriented.
  • Highly responsible, multitasking, and flexible with can-do attitude.
