DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Approvals

  • Review and prepare material submittals to the Engineer.
  • Conduct inspection, review and verification of construction materials in accordance with the project requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, project specification, and quality management system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and laboratories for testing and certification.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of material approvals, test result, and quality record.
  • Provide technical support to project teams regarding material selection and application.
  • participate in audits, infections, and meetings with clients/consultants.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to materials quality or non-compliance.

Method Statement Review

  • Evaluate construction method statements for compliance with safety regulations, project requirements, and quality standards.
  • Supporting QA/QC inspections by providing relevant documentation and approval.
  • Able to evaluate HIRAC (Hazard Identification Rick Assessment and Control.

Coordination

  • Assist in resolving technical queries related to materials and method.
  • Monitor/updates documents submission and approval.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure procurement and construction schedules align with approval.
