The Materials Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing, managing, and controlling the flow of construction materials from requisition to utilization. This role ensures that materials are procured at the best value, delivered on time, stored properly, and used efficiently across all project sites.

  • Review, validate, and process MPRs from project sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and procurement procedures.
  • Continuously track, analyze, and compare material price trends to support cost-effective purchasing decisions and prevent budget overruns.
  • Supervise the transfer, allocation, and consumption of materials to ensure optimal usage and prevent wastage or shortages.
  • Ensure all project warehouses maintain accurate inventory records, proper storage, and systematic arrangement of materials.
  • Conduct quality and quantity inspections of materials delivered to project sites, ensuring compliance with specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain updated records of material stocks, consumption, and reorder levels; prepare regular inventory and usage reports for management.
  • Liaise with procurement, engineering, and site teams to ensure timely material availability aligned with construction schedules.
  • Establish and enforce procedures for safe handling, storage, and issuance of construction materials to minimize damage and loss.
  • Verify that materials used in projects meet technical requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide input on material cost forecasts, support cost-saving initiatives, and contribute to overall project financial control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
