Major Responsibilities:

Prepare a quarterly farm crop calendar based on the demand of Organic Options Inc. and direct clients.

Monitor and supervise daily farm activities (e.g. crop production) and fertilizer production to ensure that production and quality targets are met.

Ensure proper crop care and maintenance are observed by the workforce.

Ensure proper organic fertilizer production operations.

Keep daily/batch records of fertilizer produced.

Supervise work hours and assignments of individuals in his team.

Analyze and report production efficiency.

Ensure full adherence to the standards provided for by the PNS on Organic Agriculture in the care the of Farm Manager.

Ensure the proper execution of approved weekly tasks and submit weekly progress reports to Farm Manager.

10.  Prepare weekly work targets aligned with the directives provided by the Farm Manager.

11.  Monitor inputs and equipment inventory and equipment status.

12.  Consolidate farm records and other data.

Minor Duties:

13.  Assist in daily farming activities including harvesting of crops and fertilizers.

14.  Help improve the knowledge in Organic Farm practices that would help optimize quality/yield.

15.  Assist in land preparation, irrigation, fertilization, and pest and disease management.

16.  Assist in the re-validation of the weekly forecast.

17.  Train and mentor OJT's

18.  Coordinate farming adjustments on harvests with the Organic Options Inc sales team.

19.  Coordinate other technical matters with Earthman NL Business Development Specialist.
