Job Summary:

Designs Ligna is looking for a professional and driven Sales Associate to support showroom operations, engage with clients, and contribute to sales performance in a high-end retail environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in premium or luxury retail who enjoys working in a design-oriented setting and is confident in guiding clients through the sales process. You will work closely with senior sales staff, support showroom events, and play a key role in maintaining a five-star customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Performance & Client Engagement:

  • Assist clients throughout the sales process—from product selection to closing the sale
  • Help meet individual and team sales goals through proactive customer service and follow-ups
  • Prepare sales documentation, quotations, and process orders accurately

Showroom Experience & Operations:

  • Ensure the showroom is always presentable, organized, and reflective of the Designs Ligna brand
  • Greet clients professionally and assist them in exploring product options and finishes
  • Support the implementation of merchandising and layout updates

Client Relationships & Service:

  • Build positive relationships with walk-in clients and design professionals
  • Handle client concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a client database and follow through on leads and repeat business opportunities

Events, Promotions & Brand Support:

  • Participate in showroom events, launches, and seasonal promotions
  • Ensure that promotional materials and product displays are current and aligned with brand messaging
  • Represent the company at industry functions when required

Team Collaboration & Learning:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support overall team performance and daily operations
  • Continue developing product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends
  • Assist senior team members with special projects and showroom improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in the furniture industry, or sales ideally in a luxury or design retail setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Client-focused, with a polished and professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident in managing a sales process independently while collaborating with a team
  • Passion for interior design, furniture, or high-end products is a plus
  • Willingness to work showroom hours including weekends and events as needed
