Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests
  • Provide first and second-level technical support for Windows and Linux server environments
  • Troubleshoot issues across switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, servers, and storage
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure uptime and availability
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls via Active Directory
  • Document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 or specialized teams when needed
  • Perform routine maintenance: patching, updates, backups, and lifecycle tasks
  • Assist with server/network configuration changes and infrastructure upgrades
  • Support remote access and connectivity solutions
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4 years in IT support or infrastructure roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and basic Linux administration
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
  • Experience with tools like SolarWinds Orion, SCOM, Azure Arc
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMWare)
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking gear (Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Certifications

  • ITIL Foundation knowledge
  • VMware Certified Associate
  • Juniper JNCIA or Aruba ACMA
