Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 7 years of overall IT experience and 3–4 years of hands-on expertise in Terraform, AWS, and Databricks. You will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and data environments to support cloud-native and analytics workloads.

Primary Technologies Involved:

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
  • Cloud & Compute: AWS (Lambda, Fargate ECS)
  • Data & Analytics: Apache Spark, Databricks
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Monitoring & Security: New Relic, Auth0
  • Additional Tools: Mashi (internal tool or framework)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Databricks and Apache Spark environments for data processing.
  • Implement secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage cloud-based databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimise performance.
  • Integrate Auth0 for authentication and access control.
  • Use New Relic and other monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure seamless deployment workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of total experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Proven ability to automate and scale cloud solutions in production environments.
  • Experience with New Relic, Auth0, and containerised environments (Fargate ECS).
  • Excellent problem-solving, scripting, and troubleshooting skills.
