About the Role

We are looking for a General Accountant with at least 5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and well-versed in accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general accounting processes, including recording transactions and preparing financial reports using QuickBooks.
  • Oversee accounts payable, billing, petty cash, and check processing.
  • Handle loan applications and ensure compliance with long-term payables documentation.
  • Monitor tax compliance (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax) and coordinate with external bookkeepers.
  • Process payroll entries and maintain accurate employee compensation records.
  • Support financial planning by preparing budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations of bank accounts and sales records.
  • Track company assets, depreciation, and valuation.
  • Provide pricing analysis and issue internal memos on accounting procedures.
  • Train staff on QuickBooks and accounting processes when needed.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Starting salary is Php35,000.00

Location: Ecoland, Davao City (Near Saint John Paul College, Fronting 7-Eleven | Full-Time, Office-Based | Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
