Overall responsible in providing SAP and JPS functional and technical consulting expertise to end users in support of the long term sustainment and continuous improvement on SAP and JPS enabled process; interface with third party and client payroll groups from time to time to ensure that all requested information required for SAP and JPS implementation is properly collected, disseminated and that all requests are fulfilled.

Strategic/Tactical

  • Provide SAP and JPS Functional support and guidance in all client requirements and business processes.
  • Provide SAP and JPS functional and technical consulting expertise to end users in support of the long term sustainment and continuous improvement of SAP and JPS enabled processes.
  • Conduct testing of new or modified program, including documentation to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.
  • Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.
  • Interface with payroll groups from time to time to ensure that all requested information required for both SAP and JPS project implementation are properly collected, disseminated and that all requests are fulfilled.
  • Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
  • Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
  • Train software program users.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

Reports and Analytics

  • Writes documentation (functional specification specification) to describe program evaluation, development, testing and correction
  • Reports status and critical issues on projects
  • Develop end user documentation and training material

Process and compliance

  • Compliance to Company's Information Security policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing departmental technical policies and procedures
  • Maintain status of project and monitors activities of team members
  • Initiates discussions with users or external groups to resolve issues.
  • May give occasional functional guidance and mentoring to other team members
  • May provide guidance and training to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectations

Baseline Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Graduate of Computer Science, Industrial Management Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experienced in working with structured project management methodologies and quality systems and within a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Exposure in the business process outsourcing industry or shared services.

DESIRED:

  • At least 3 years project management experience, preferably in transitions of work scope and resources across multiple departments.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
