We are looking to hire a
Systems Engineer
to join our Global Systems Engineering Team. As part of the team, you will be part of the team that implement, maintain and consolidate of our global server infrastructure hosted in datacenters worldwide, acting directly on client facing systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as work on challenging projects aimed towards continuous improvement and evolution of our technology environment.

The infrastructure itself represents a motivating challenge: Open-source platforms and proprietary platforms spread across more than 1,000 servers located in 25+ data centers worldwide. The system infrastructure consists of multiple server platforms, SAN and NAS storage.

Responsibilities include:

• Engineering, implementation, and maintenance of Operating Systems and monitoring tools
• Daily administration of systems infrastructure
• Analysis and resolution of system related incidents
• Coordinate the deployment of new hardware to meet client expectations
• Develop and enhance system policies, procedures, and controls
• Ensure adherence to Information Security guidelines
• Continuous improvement in the quality and uptime of the environment

The technology integral to our operating environments include:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS (Microsoft Windows is a plus)
• Scripting in Shell, Perl, Python
• Basic Networking Skills
• Automation tools and configuration management (Ansible)
• Clustering (RedHat Cluster), Virtual IP management
• Postfix, Apache, Tomcat, OpenLDAP / Active Directory / MySQL / MariaDB
• Dell / HP / Cisco UCS / Hardware Management
• Virtualization Hypervisors Ovirt, RedHat KVM
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Collectd, ITRS, Munin, etc.)
• Cisco SAN switches
• AWS experience is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a Systems Engineer
• Administration of Linux systems on Dell, HP blades and/or Cisco UCS hardware
• Motivated, hardworking, and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work under extreme pressure
• Good understanding of the risks and potential impact of working on a 24/7 live environment
• Financial Services industry experience is a plus
• Collaborate with international clients and global internal teams
