Job Overview/Purpose:

Marketing Officer is responsible in growing the business and profitability. Oversees the company's marketing campaigns while keeping abreast on internal and external opportunities and plays a key part in communicating the organization's marketing message.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Communicates with both internal and external clients and assists them in their requests.

  2. Writes press releases and reports.

  3. Arranges approved promotional events.

  4. Assesses and evaluates the results of a marketing campaign.

  5. Assists the manager in data analysis.

  6. Monitors on-line web traffic and comments/feedback for social networking campaigns.

  7. Creates on –line content if applicable.

  8. Prepares PowerPoint and other presentations.

  9. Updates consumer database based on available records.

  10. Ensures that prices, rates and packages are up-to-date.

  11. Prepares mailers and documents.

  12. Maintains and organizes marketing files and archived documents.

  13. Tracks and monitors progress of marketing campaigns.

  14. Updates job knowledge by participating in events, seminars, etc.

  15. Ensures that QMS and other accreditation standards are implemented, monitored and documented.

  16. Performs any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Studies, Business Administration or related course.
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Background in marketing hospitality and food industry is an advantage.
