JOB SUMMARY

The Online Gaming IT Manager is responsible for the management and maintenance of the online casino platform. Key responsibilities include leading the IT team, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring data security and regulatory compliance. This role also involves collaborating with product and development teams to deliver new features and improvements, and managing system monitoring and incident response protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and managing the internal IT team responsible for the online casino platform.
  • Managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensuring data security and compliance with iGaming regulations.
  • Collaborating with product, design, and marketing teams to launch new features and improvements.
  • Working closely with the platform provider on the integration of third-party services, such as payment gateways, Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering tools, game providers, and affiliate tracking systems.
  • Implementing best practices in DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and version control.
  • Collaborating effectively with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features that meet both functional and non-functional requirements on time and within budget.
  • Working closely with Quality Assurance teams to enforce automated and manual testing strategies.
  • Managing system monitoring and incident response protocols.
  • Contributing to strategic technology planning and scaling initiatives.
  • Staying up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies, with a particular focus on advancements in non-functional requirements optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have experience in online gaming platform integrations and migrations.
  • Strong experience with front-end technologies: , , JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SASS.
  • Strong back-end experience with , PHP (Laravel/Symfony), or similar, plus working knowledge of microservices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with WebSockets and their application in real-time applications, considering latency and data integrity requirements.
  • Strong understanding of mobile responsive design principles and implementation techniques, including accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience working in the online gaming industry or a similar high-availability/high-security environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing developers, DevOps, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with casino or sportsbook platforms is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of PAGCOR compliance standards relevant to the Philippine gaming market is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with content and payment integrations, risk & fraud applications, and other platforms associated with online gaming is preferred.
