Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert in Fraud Detection and Prevention (Systems) to join our team within the online gambling industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to minimize risks associated with fraudulent activities and bonus abuse, ensuring the integrity of our gaming environment and protecting the business from financial losses. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay ahead of emerging fraud trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends, and emerging threats related to fraud and bonus abuse and conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential fraud vulnerabilities in the organizations processes and systems.
  • Develop and implement robust risk control strategies to identify, monitor, and mitigate fraud risks across the platform.
  • Use advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to detect fraudulent behavior and anomalies in real-time.
  • Design and implement strategies to prevent and detect bonus abuse, including the exploitation of promotions, bonuses, and loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and IT teams to integrate fraud detection systems into existing platforms and workflows and develop new tools that improve the detection and prevention of fraud and bonus abuse.
  • Continuously refine and enhance fraud detection algorithms to adapt to new fraud patterns and tactics.
  • Act as a liaison between the risk control team and senior management, ensuring alignment on risk management objectives.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fraud detection, risk management, or bonus abuse prevention, preferably within the online gaming, financial services, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing risk control strategies for fraud and bonus abuse.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools, methodologies, and bonus abuse prevention techniques.
  • Experience with rule-based fraud detection systems and knowledge of digital fingerprinting, behavioral analytics, and graph-based analysis.

Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the online gambling or gaming industry.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in fraud detection, bonus abuse prevention, and risk management.
